Care
Individual requirements
Textiles preserve their beauty and character for many years when they receive regular care. Upholstered furniture and decorative fabrics can become slightly dirty from everyday use. Of course, every fabric has its own specific care requirements. It is therefore of the utmost importance to read the manufacturer’s instructions on the labels.

Curtains and upholstery
Preserving the beauty
Curtains should be washed or cleaned regularly. Lined fabrics, for instance, must be dry-cleaned. Please only wash textiles at home if correspondingly labelled!
For machine-washable material, it is best to use a mild, liquid detergent. Fill the drum to a maximum of half of its capacity and set the machine to supply more water. In addition to this, make sure that the spinning stage has been set at a low rpm. Concerning hand-washing, dissolve a detergent in water at approx. 30ºC. Wash the material carefully. Do not rub or pull the fabric and refrain from wringing out. Hang the fabric up to dry directly after washing and make sure that it is not left lying flat for a longer period whilst wet.
Upholstery and cushions maintain their beauty when vacuumed regularly with a special upholstery nozzle in order to prevent dust and dirt from becoming interlocked with the fabric.

Stains
Time is of the essence
After all, stains are best removed immediately. Damp or wet stains are best dabbed off with a white, soft, lint-free, absorbable and clean cloth. Do not rub. This could cause permanent changes to the surface of the fabric. If the stain is still not removed, contact a specialist.
